"Ski for Light"
Foundation
The ULLR "Ski for Light" Foundation is the philanthropic affiliate of the ULLR Ski, Bike and Social Club. Our mission is to raise money to provide adaptive equipment and opportunities which promote participation in skiing, biking and other activities for individuals with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. We have also provided equipment for cross country skiing, canoeing, horseback riding, biking, race running, water skiing, exercising, swimming and our latest, golfing. The Foundation was formed in 1984 as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation.
The ULLR Foundation's rich history began in 1973 with annual auctions to raise funds to purchase "sit-skis." ULLR Ski Club has also volunteered in the "Ski for Light" MSC program for the blind and hard of hearing skiers.
Over the years the ULLR Foundation has raised and donated over $150,000 to adaptive programs.

Hennepin Therapedic Recreation Inclusion Program - adaptive canoe seats
St. Paul Clevland MS-Children at Risk - wheelchairs, student retreat
St. Paul Humbolt and Minnetonka Schools - adaptive bicycles, wheelchair
Boys and Girls Club Twin Cities - summer camps
MN Ski Council - handicapped ski training
Guardian Ad Litem - day camps
Helping Paws - service dogs
MS 150 Ride - scholarships
"We Can Ride" - adaptive saddles and stirrups
Opportunity Partners - exercise equipment
Sabes JCC - pool chair lift
Pro-Act - various types of exercise equipment
Padraig's Place - Buck Hill Adaptive Downhill Ski Program - sit skis and other equipment
The ULLR "Ski for Light" Foundation is a non-profit organization, run entirely by volunteers. All gifts are fully tax deductible and go directly to fund adaptive programs. Donations may be sent to ULLR Ski, Bike and Social Club, P.O. Box 201409, Bloomington, MN, 55420-1409. Checks made out to the ULLR Foundation.
Our Board consists of dedicated ULLR members. It is through their generosity and dedication that the Foundation can provide "gifts that keep giving."
