The Ullr Foundation is the philanthropic division of the Ullr Ski, Bike and Social Club. Its mission is to raise money to provide equipment and promote participation in skiing, biking, and other sports for physically- and mentally-challenged individuals of all ages. The Ullr Foundation Board reports through the Ullr Ski, Bike and Social Club Board, and its members include all Ullr members. The success of the Ullr Foundation's fundraising activities is largely based on participation by all ski club members. A number of organizations such as Courage Center, Hennepin Parks handicap Program, Hearing Impaired ski programs, and Wilderness Inquiry have benefited from Ullr Foundation funds.
The Foundation's raises charitable donations through various functions sponsored by the Ullr Ski, Bike and Social Club. Participation in MSC (Minnesota Ski Council) SKI SWAP, Holidazzle Parade, Camp Snoopy volunteering, Consumer Testing programs, and Bingo events are some of our current fund raising efforts. The Foundation is constantly seeking new fundraising methods and welcomes any and all suggestions.Foundation Board members are available during regular Ullr meetings to answer questions about Foundation efforts, hear fundraising suggestions, and welcome any inquiries relative to joining the Foundation board. Those interested in offering cash donations may do so using the "Donation Jar" located at the sign-in table at regular Ullr meetings. Memorial donations to the Foundation are welcomed. This a good way to remember our skier friends, as well as other friends and relatives.
The Ullr Foundation's Board membership consists of 12 to 17 interested Ullr members who serve for an average of 3 years. Board member responsibilities include attendance at Ullr Foundation Board meetings, attendance at regular Ullr meetings, and, most importantly, participation in Foundation fundraising events. Following the normal 3-year term, a Board member can choose to extend for as long as they wish.
If you are interested in becoming an Ullr Foundation Board member, please contact any current Board member (see listing below). We welcome your interest in serving on the Board, and look forward to hearing from you.

Consumer Testing
WE NEED YOU!The Ullr Foundation has another opportunity for you to help us to raise money. You would periodically take part in a taste test or in-home use test. Food Perspectives, Inc. would contact you to set up a time. There are several locations such as Robbinsdale, Plymouth, Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Mounds View, and Bloomington. Your name remains on file until you request to be taken off. There is generally a choice of dates and times at which you can participate in this. For the most part you would be testing food products.
You cannot be over age 65 (Bummer!)
You would receive $13 to $25, and the Foundation $5 - $8
(You can of course donate your earnings to the Foundation if you wish!)Click Here for Sign-up Sheet
